GP Toys H2O Aviax is my first drone - a nice toy grade drone with waterproof feature which cost me below 1000K then! I enjoyed it a lot and still flying sometimes. Drones are easy to crash due to various reasons such as pilot error, technical problems, wind etc. So I crashed it many times while learning indoor. Yes, I started to fly my first drone inside my apartment so crash is unavoidable! Good thing about low cost drone is we can try ourselves to fix the problems and learn more about drones and its technical detail. That being said, I learned many things from this bird and manage to change damaged motors, main board etc.

I choose DJI Phantom 3 Standard as my second drone for photo shoot purpose (yeah, I am a model here since 2014) which comes with a 2.7K stock camera and 3D gimbal. Even though I bought it for photo shoot purpose, I couldn't do the photo shoot with this one because it crashed on the second day of flight :D I spent 10000K to buy it then some 5000K + for repairing it. DJI warranty is a joke when I read many forum posts as mine! DJI simply washed hands by the usual term "pilot error"! I was flying 20 meters above and suddenly it stopped and fell in to a pond and damaged "intelligent battery",  camera gimbal board and cable.

Anyway I completed the photo shoot with the Syma X8HW which cost me 2350K then. This bird I am still flying by fixing minor problems due to crashes. I changed lower body cover, adjusted propeller shaft which jammed due to crashes, changed some propellers and added some extra LiPo batteries to extend the flying time. Syma X8HW only gives a maximum of 10 minutes if there no wind.

In short, I am getting more happiness from low budget drones like any other hobbyists/ drone pilots!

When we started www.flycamworld.com, we included DJI drones but stopped selling it because of high price for common customers and from my own experience! Now keeping some spare part and accessories for 'frustrated DJI owners"!

We are promoting low budget drones like Hubsan.

Hubsan drones are great for it's compact design, low cost and high resolution camera.
Drone manufacturers like UDI, JXD and MJX have various models with low cost, great flight time and performance.

So guys, go for small and low cost drone if you are a beginner which is affordable and easy to maintain without tearing your pocket!

You can upgrade to a high cost one when you feel more confident and need.

People who wish to get some good quality photos and videos may choose some 1080P camera drones which will not tear your pocket!

GPS drones are popular for it's stability (altitude hold) and amazing functions such as RTH (Return To Home), Follow Me and Orbit Mode.

Even though it's easy to fly, you should be very cautious in each flight which need a 'compass calibration' process to record the home point.

In many 'flyaway' cases are due to ignorance of the pilot! If you calibrate the compass slowly and correctly before take off, you don't need to worry about 'flyaway' but always keep an eye on your aircraft and try to keep it LOS (Line Of Sight)!
